  • Develop pre-project budgeting - starting with their clients design and budget goals.

  • Prepare digital accounting spreadsheets with all components detailed.

​

  • Organize digital copies of all invoices for builders, architects, designers, permits, inspections, raw material purchases, and home furnishings.

  • Provide accurate accounting for change orders - which are inevitable, but don't have to derail a project.

​

  • Investigate and provide any tax benefits for installing a solar system, LED lighting or making earthquake improvements.

  • Prepare final billing statements for all construction costs

J&C drives the entire construction process, improving timelines and minimizing costs.   We meet the customer at the job site, assist in material selection, and provide up to date progress reports.

  • Advise the customer on the Department of Building and Inspection codes and the potential impact on the project.

​

  • Purchase all necessary raw materials for the project, monitor the shipping and condition of the materials, and troubleshoot when necessary.

​

  • Provide updated timeline details, and ensure that the project is progressing as expected.

​

  • Work closely with the contractor to help resolve unexpected issues.​

​

  • Ensure smooth working relationships between all parties:  homeowner, contractor, architect, engineer, designer, landscape architect, landscaper.

J&C offers design expertise from concept to completed plans.  We work directly with our clients and either assist in selecting the project  team or coordinate with an existing group.
